We and our two dogs really liked it in the Podere Riccardo.
The for us Swiss almost already lavishly large garden area with the various seats and moorings, the pool (which we unfortunately could use only two times ), the play meadow -
it was just great.
The house was very clean, everything properly tidy and the beds made.
In all wet rooms were fresh towels.
The house is simple but tastefully decorated, we immediately felt comfortable.
Our hosts were very attentive, generous and always mindful if everything is in order, but never intrusive.
Two bottles of wine as a welcome gift, fresh vegetables from the garden,
We were really spoiled.
When in the second week the temperatures were noticeably cooler and the heating did not work, immediate assistance was on the spot and despite Saturday evening within 30 minutes a specialist arrived,
Who immediately solved the problem.
Every day the pool was cleaned and the plants poured in the garden.
With our modest knowledge of Italian, we managed to get a little chat from time to time.
We also have the excellent wine of Riccardo at a very reasonable price. In short: everything in perfect order!
A few small things that we noticed but which are really very subjective:
The kitchen is for our standards but very sparsely equipped, especially with dishes,
Knives and the like lacks, dishes, cutlery and glasses are generously available.
The double sofa is to relax on cool evenings not very attractive, but in the
Main travel times you usually stay out there, so not so bad,
We just had bad luck with the weather.
The beds were decent and quite comfortable, but not necessarily from the pillows.
The excursion tips were very helpful, we have seen some of it.
And off course a Trip to the Bau-Bau-Beach was not missing, our dogs enjoyed it very much.
Conclusion: We were definitely not the last time in Toscana, not the last time in the Maremma and we can imagine us well in the Podere Riccardo to lodge, the great house, the beautiful surroundings and the warm hosts are very good reasons .
