The Villa La Guardata is located in a panoramic position on a hill with olive trees (350 m asl) and provides views of the nearby Castiglion Fiorentino (2 km). The imposing stone house was built on a military observation post at the foot of Castel d'ernia in the middle of the 18th century. Since the year 1200 it is the headquarter of a noble Tuscan family! It was extensively restored in 1996.
Near Arezzo, located in the Val di Chio between Cortona and Castiglion Fiorentino you will find this lovely country house (Casali in Val di Chio) with a well-kept villa and apartments with pool. There will also be offered own wine, Tuscan oil and other typical products of the region.
In order to obtain the maximum amount of the original shape of the building it was built only two independent apartments.
The beautiful swimming pool (5 x 10 m) below the villa is situated in a beautiful garden with mediterranean plants and fragrant herbs.
Among the cultural sites you will find in 20 km distance in Arezzo, you can also go to Perugia 60 km, Siena 70 km, Assisi 85 km, Florence 100 km and 215 km to Rome.
