A small and lovely country house (55m²)with panoramic view, located submontane of the Monte Elmo over the little village Elmo di Sorano (near Pitigliano).
La Baita was rebuilt of old walls. Originally it was a guest house for family fesivals.
The house is located separate and hidden between very old oaks on the estate of Casa Marianella.
On two sides of the house a covered patio with seating possibility (seats, banks, table), oven (wood) for making pizza, barbecue and for roasting.

In Elmo you find a bar, the meeting point of the village and a little village shop where you can buy al necessary products like fresh panini, fruste (baguette), cheese, milk, bread, sausage and many more items.

Elmo is located close to theimpressive Etruscan forts Sorano (7km) and Pitigliano (10km) and the old bishop's town Sovana.
Many archaeological excavations, holes and hollow ways invite you to trips and hikes through history. A little bathing possibility at the river Fiora, a clean river from the mountains (15min away) and also the Lago di Bolsena can be reached in half an hour. In the same distance you find the thermal springs of Saturnia, the ocean can be reached in an hour.About 60km to the Monte Argentario, 80km to Siena and 120km to Rome.
