Mondo Felice

A dreamlike Tuscan country house (70m²) in Elmo, located on a hill at the lower foothills of the Monte Amiata with a great view over the the Maremma, near Sorano.

The country house Mondo Felice was restored from a ruin into a lovely Italian country house which combines the cosiness of old times with the chic of the Tuscany today.
Anybody who searches for calm and relaxing holiday is definetly at the right place.

In front of the house you have a covered ( wild wine ) terrace with an absolute panoramic view over the Tuscan landscape.
A small kitchen outside, barbecue and a fenced garden (350m²).

A round pool (4,6m calibre) in common with two houses in the neighbourhood.
Also a washing house with washing machine and electric iron in common use.

In Elmo (1km away) you find a small grocery store ( well-assorted ) where you can buy daily needs like bread, baguette (fruste), milk, ham, sausage, cheese, dishes, underwear....a real "zia-anna" store.

In the cities of Sorano, Pitigliano (12km) and Sivana you find all other grocery stores, shops, restaurants, churches, museums.

Many archaeological excavations, holes and hollow ways invite you to trips and hikes through the history of the Etruscans.

A little bathing possibility  can be found at the river Fiora, a clean river from the mountains. You can reach the river in about 15 minutes, the Lago di Bolsena in 30 minutes (30km) as well as the thermal springs of Saturnia in the mountains, the ocean can be reached in about an hour (50km to the Monte Argenatario).
